Madyson has always known that she wanted to help people. After an amazing Psychology teach in high school, Madyson decided to focus on mental health. She is frequently amazed at how the mind works, adapts, and can be truly healed through therapy. She feels passionately about helping people develop into whoever they chose and overcoming obstacles along the way.
In 2014 Madyson graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Utah, and a received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Widener University in 2024. Her professional focus has involved working with adults with severe mental illness in a crisis center, and helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
Her areas of expertise include working with survivors of intimate partner violence, trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and stress. Madyson is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and enjoys working with people going through faith transitions. She works with individuals adolescent age (13+) through adulthood.
Madyson feels that while therapy can be intimidating, it can also be a treat. It is a great opportunity to deal with hard things in a safe environment with additional support and can be tailored to each person.
She has a warm and welcoming demeanor that provides a judgement free safe space. Madyson’s friendly and bubbly personality, and active listening, allows her clients to feel free to be themselves or to find themselves.
In her free time Madyson enjoys spending time with her family, reading a book, doing puzzles, and baking treats. She loves a good road trip, trying new foods, and attending rock concerts.
