What is A.R.T. Therapy?
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a unique approach to psychotherapy. ART guides the client with assistance through an ART therapist, to replace negative images which cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress, with positive images of the client’s choosing. It combines eye movement with well – established therapies like Gestalt, Psychodynamic Therapy and Guided Imagery. These eye movements produce Theta waves which have been connected to creativity, intuition, daydreaming and are often present during meditative states.
